The Empire snowboard is a true twin tip with a Dual Transitional Sidecut, Structurn and Energy Plates. Featuring high strength to weight ratio wood core, the Empire is designed for a smooth ride in all conditions. The core is profiled to deliver an even response to long periods of edging which is unique to snowkiting. The Quadrax orientation of the lay-up distributes binding pressure over a greater area, because the 30-degree axis fibers add extra torsional stiffness. PROFLEX CORE
Specially profiled to provide a kite specific reflex, the Empire core is made up of 2 different poplar woods for an excellent strength to weight ratio (for hard landings and extra pop).

LAMINATE
Quadrax Glass with 0/+30/-30/90degree fiber orientation, is specifically designed for snowboarding to control tortional twist and to add pop (reflex).

ENERGY PLATES
An extra layer of biax glass is placed under the toe/heel area of the binding for added compression strength & to disperse energy from the binding.

DUAL TRANSITIONAL SIDECUT
Very mellow radius towards the tip/tail for better stability at speed & for more freedom on
take-offs/landings, while the center of the sidecut is tight for quicker turns at slower speeds.

MICRO INSERT PATTERN
4X2 insert pattern so you can get any stance you want.

KITE SPECIFIC TUNING
2 degree edge profile convex base, low camber are designed to maximize performance and freedom.

Crystal EZ CARE BASE WITH STRUCTURN
The fastest all condition base finish in the world. It’s good in all snow conditions. The tiny dimples (similar to a golf ball) are pressed into the base, to break up suction and improve glide. The base material features a super hard, abrasive resistant material for added durability & low maintenance.
